With a long history of over 1200 years, Long Jing tea (Dragon Well Tea) is unquestionably the most famous green tea in China. Long Jing tea, grown alongside the scenic West Lake near Hangzhou, being the most sought after by many enthusiasts of premium tea, both inside and outside China. The tea has a long and mysterious history and was reputed to be a great favourite of Chairman Mao Zedong.

Mei Jia Wu Long Jing Tea is harvested and handmade in Mei Jia Wu, one of the most famous producing areas of authentic Long Jing. It’s produced from the very tender first spring shoots around 15th, March each year before Chinese Qing Ming Festival. Ming Qian Long Jing tea offers a subtler finish than others picked later.

Meijiawu Longjing tea has a light nutty aroma, smell of fresh leaves, very smooth taste and a pleasant flowery aftertaste. The tea leaves are green, flat and slender. Meijiawu has a reputation for producing some of the best Long Jing teas in the world. The delicate fragrance is very long-lasting, and the bright liquor gives a refreshing, brisk, mellow, and sweet aftertaste.
